Caste census in india: social dimension

Ruling government decided that caste census continue in officially two phase in complete. First phase start in April 2026 to September 2026 and second phase start in population with caste enumeration phase 9 February 2027 till February 2027. We all know that Indian society are heterogeneous society live in India multicaste, multilinguistic, and multitraditional society. Societies means group of people having common custom and law. 

Indian society as of now can always be known for ethnic diversity, cultural diversity, linguistic and political diversity and caste diversity. all the above mention diversity only caste diversity is a matter of great introspection among the research scholar because due to caste diversity indias political economy democratic culture as well as various aspects of social life depends. Indian society known for its diversity is an outcome of various important socio religious events.    Characteristics of Indian society Megasthenes- Indian society decided in 7 different class (1) philospher class (2) agrarian class (3) shepherd class(4) manual labour class (5) soldier class (6) inspector class (7) counsellor class. And upward mobilisation is not allowed. During the period of indo Aryans arrival the prevalent system of varna ashram dharm been converted in to a hereditary caste system . In this caste system the person caste is going to decide his socio economic life and upward mobilisation was not allowed. As a result Indian society has created a phenomena of caste based disqualification.which is relevant today also varna colour. Brahman, kshatriya, vaishya moksha will contain, but sudra and untouchables non moksha, this is hereditary caste system. Who are shudra as per Dr. Ambedkar caste is the extreme form of social class organization.in which the position of hereditary caste based system. Caste understand most superior and some inferior. Social capital join to ground level which help the good education, good job and good economic growth i.e Baniya, Agrawal join to ground level money and help each other. Dr. Ambedkar always says one word Depressed class means sc/st/obc same hair same skin base and socio educational backward class. After independence the caste identity of our society has entered into the vote bank politics, caste based politics, identity based politics, dominant caste and assertive politics i.e gupta,dube and so on. We all know these thing, we not create debate but create history our indias hierarchy. Kaka kelkar committee under article 340 president can appoint a commission to determine the criteria to be adopted in considering whether any section of the people should be treated as socially and educationally backward OBC Or socio economically backward class (1) very low social position in the caste hierarchy (2) lack of educational progress (3) inadequate representation and government service (4) inadequate representation in trade and commerce industry. But kaka kelkar committee was rejected but one thing accepted creation of obc list central obc list and state obc list only accented in 105th constitutional amendment. Mandal commission came 1979 and said environment Previllage less economically students came 75% and good environment and good economically contain 90% both are equal. Rohini commission came 2017 talk about categorization of obc 27% reservation extreme and most backward class . Important Decennial census means census of India act 1948,under Ministry of home affairs conduct census ( registrar general of India and census commissioner of India) and national population register (NPR)according census data accepted.
