UP Election 2027

In Uttar Pradesh, the state assembly elections are scheduled to be held in 2027. There is a lot of excitement among the public regarding the elections, wondering whether UP will see a new government or if the NDA(BJP) government will return to power once again with a massive majority. Countless questions are running through our minds regarding the elections, and through this blog, we are trying to find answers to some of them.

As we all know, the panchayat elections were supposed to be held in 2026, but the government either failed to conduct them or simply did not want to. Now it is being said that the panchayat elections will take place only after the state assembly elections in 2027, and until then, every gram Pradhan has been accepted in the role of an administrator.

When it comes to the state assembly elections, there was a major controversy regarding whether the government and the election commission of India (ECI) work together to conduct fair elections, or if unfair elections are conducted through EVMs. Recently, Ritika Chopra wrote a news article of around 2000 words in The Indian Express, stating that ECI chief GYANESH KUMAR is not conducting the election fair properly and is playing with India's democracy. When Ritika Chopra was asked if she had any evidence, she explained that she has been working on this subject for the last ten years and did not just write this 2000 word article in The Indian Express overnight.

When the opposition leaders read this news, they thanked Ritika Chopra and stated that the NDA has done an injustice to the 145 crore citizens of the country. In this regard, the opposition's stance is not entirely wrong; if the election commission is doing this, it is highly shameful, and we are being exploited in every possible way. This matter has not ended yet. People in large number's are taking to the streets in different states and actively participating and supporting the protests, demanding that GYANESH KUMAR resign. However the question remains: is GYANESH KUMAR resignation as easy as the resignation of an education minister? The answer is no why to safeguard the independence of the election commission of India, Article 324(5) of the constitution dictates that the CEC can only be removed from office in the same manner and on the same grounds as a judge of the supreme court. In the Lok Sabha must be signed by at least 100 and Rajya Sabha 50 members of parliament(MPs). And proved misbehaviour , and admission and judicial investigation then voting by special majority then Presidential order.

Let's get back to our topic where we are trying to understand the conversation going on between people. I spoke more than 1000 women and men to find out whether people want to bring a new government to power this time or continue with the existing one. Although everyone gave different answers, I found that many people still want a BJP government, while many others want to change.
However one thing became clear from these conversations: caste based politics continues to influence people in Uttar Pradesh. The maximum number of people mentioned the SAMAJVADI PARTY(SP), but many also said that BAHUJAN SAMAJVADI PARTY(BSP) has worked as a good administrator and development in Uttar Pradesh. Despite this, they do not prefer voting for the BSP because of caste consideration. There is considerable dissatisfaction among young people with the BJP for several reasons. One major reason is making them wait for five years and then releasing vacancies only at the end of the term. Some people are also unhappy because the panchayat elections were not held on time

Elections are not only just a political issue; an election decides people's future for the next five years. Therefore, it should be our duty to rise above caste and community and elect a good leader who take appropriate decisions keeping in mind the problems of the public - who can control rising unemployment and inflation. Today's student spend more time on social media, so they do not feel the pain of unemployment as deeply. We are all aware that as long as human society exists, problem will never end. However, this does not mean that we should keep running away from every problem.

Today, there is anger among people. Rising inflation and growing needs are, in one way or another, playing with people's lives. If we look at Uttar Pradesh, its population is more than 25 crore, and it is not easy to run the government and administration in such a large state. That is why there is now talk of dividing UP in to separate states. Even in this, politicians are playing caste based politics. They are saying things like," In Eastern UP, the RAJBHAR population is higher, so a RAJBHAR can become the CM. We need to end this kind of politics. Only then will we truly be in a position to point fingers at politicians, and only then will impartial and capable leaders emerge in our state.

When I asked people in the field whether politicians manifestos and scheme like - transferring money directly in to women's accounts - have any real impact on pulling votes in their favour, they said yes, but this time there is much greater  awareness, especially after what happened Bihar and Delhi. So the effect of such tactics will be less this time. And we will try to ensure that good leaders emergency from among us, leader who listen to the voice of students farmers and the poor.
